Mission Point Resource Center began operations in Catacamas, Honduras in June, 2008 as a ministry of Refuge International, with a vision to establish and operate a technology-based resource center providing access to the material, training, and support necessary to spiritually enrich the lives of individuals, families, and communities of Olancho, with primary focus on young people.

Since it's establishment, the staff of the Resource Center has accomplished this vision by:

• Providing quality material and curriculum for teaching
• Assisting communities by presenting teacher's workshops and seminars in children's education
• Presenting workshops on leadership and family values
• Assisting families in developing productive home gardens and other home-based businesses such as sewing
• Presenting seminars to aid in understanding better health, nutrition, and hygiene practices
• Assisting vocational ministers by providing internet access and resources addressing their specific abilities and interests

The Refuge International Mission Statement is: We will glorify God by serving the people of Honduras, providing them with the resources needed to support the spiritual enrichment of the individual, their families, their children, and the community.
