Fellowship of Women, 2010

We are pleased to have 2 reports with photos of the wonderful Confraternidad (Fellowship) of Women at the church of Christ at La Sosa.

La confraterinidad de Damas a nivel de Olancho, que se realizo en la Sosa el 6 de marzo. La participación fue sorprendente un aproximado de 350 hermanas de 40 congregaciones asistieron. El edficio y las sillas fueron insuficientes, Gloria a Dios...

A most unusual and wonderful event took place in La Sosa, Olancho on Saturday, March 6th; women from 40 different congregations gathered for an area wide women's meeting that was attended by a total of over 300! The morning started with singing and prayer at 9am and followed by a devotional and singing group presentations from several different congregations. A children's class was held separately. The main speaker, was Delsi Pacheco, wife of Freddy Lopez, who spoke from 11 until noon on the topic of the woman's administration for the home and family. At noon a wonderful lunch of stewed meat, salad, mixed rice and tortillas was served with horchata to drink.

The day concluded after lunch.
